KBShimmer is excited to announce the addition of 9 new colors to their 3-Free glitter polish line.  Owner Christy Rose says "With Easter, warmer weather, and Spring Break fast approaching February is the ideal time to introduce softer pastels to our lineup, but also to add a splash of bold color."

The spring lineup includes three glitter top coats, two bold jellies, and four creamy pastels, one of which is scented.  "Our new line was created to play off the softer palette of spring, but also to accent unique glitters like small black dots and spring 2013 Pantone colors like the color of the year, Emerald Green.  We are also excited to debut this collection in our new printed bottles.  With the printed bottles, and our glitter grabbing flat brush, we feel our polish is a solid addition to any collection" says Rose.

Leopard Print Featuring Bettina Polishes

HiHiHi!

It's been like two weeks since I've typed up a post! The past three posts that went up were all scheduled because I was on a Caribbean cruise for two weeks. It was amazing, and of course I had to pick up a few polishes! We stopped in Puerto Rico, and I went on a hunt for Bettina polishes. I've seen Bettina polishes on a few blogs, mostly Let Them Have Polish. Luckily, we were docked right by a CVS, and they sold Bettina. From what I hear, Bettina is sold mainly in Southern Florida and Puerto Rico.

I ended up only picking up four, and I knew I wanted to do a design with them. So I tried my had at a freehanded leopard print for the first time! I used a tutorial by Chalkboard Nails. All you need is polish, and a small/medium dotting tool. I ended up using three of the four polishes I bought. For my base I used two coats of Bettina- Sand Blast, which is a very light, but opaque, gray creme. Then for the spots I used Bettina- Secret Garden, a medium purple, and Bettina- Charmed, a pinky-coral. In the bottle, Charmed appears to have a slight shimmer, but I don't really notice it on the nail. All have awesome pigmentation, and I'm punching myself in the face for not picking up more! They were pretty cheap to. I think around $2.40.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! A few spots are pretty derpy, but I like it. I'm excited to try a few more combinations!

KBShimmer- Don't Teal Anyone

Hello!

Yet another scheduled post to show you all today! I'm a little over a week into my cruise, so I will be back soon! Today, I'm going to show you all KBShimmer- Don't Teal Anyone! KBShimmer products are available through KBShimmer.com and through Etsy.

Don't Teal Anyone, is of course a teal based polish with different sized hexes in gold, magenta and blue. There's also a few tiny magenta bars. I expected to seriously love this polish, but I'm sort of on the fence. I think it's the application that turned me off. The glitters weren't necessarily hard to place evenly on the nail, but I found the base color patchy. I ended up having to use three coats. I do like the overall look of it, and I'm digging the color combo.

butter LONDON- Fishwife

Hi Everyone!

Today I'm going to be showing you guys butter LONDON- Fishwife! I was so in love with Trustafarian that I had to pick up Fishwife. As far as I know, Fishwife is still only available in the US, and might still only be available online. Regardless, get it if you can because it's gorgeous!

Fishwife is a holographic polish that's sort of a turquoise, sea foam color. It is pretty sheer, but the holographic totally stands out, even in dim lighting. I used four coat, just to cover any bald spots. It really is a beautiful polish. It's just the perfect combo. These scheduled posts are some what out of order, and I'm actually wearing Fishwife for the first few days of my cruise! It's totally perfect. I'm really impressed with all of the butter LONDON holos that I have because they don't seem to be dulled by a top coat.

I absolutely love this polish!

Happy Hands Nail Polish- Afternoon Thunderstorms

Hey Everyone!

I hope you all are doing well! This is my first of the scheduled posts that will go up within the next two weeks! Today I have my first Happy Hands Nail Polish to show you all. I've been eyeing Afternoon Thunderstorms for quite awhile, and I was so excited when I received it in a swap! You can find Happy Hands on Etsy. Right now, there's a few polishes on sale so check them out!

Afternoon Thunderstorms is a medium gray polish with an intense gold shimmer, and multi sized black glitter. It's simple in concept, but is so pretty on the nails. The gold shimmer really stands out, and adds so much to the polish. Application was OK. I used three coats, and I did have to place the glitter every once in awhile. Overall I really love it! Gray is one of my favorite colors, so this polish is a given.

Amy's Nail Boutique- Ecopolo

Hello, Hello!

So before I even get into the hell of a gorgeous polish I have to show you today, I need to let you know that it was a special polish created by Amy's Nail Boutique for the ladies of a Facebook group I'm in. As far as I know, it won't be available to purchase from Amy. Who doesn't like to see some gorgeous polish anyways?! Do check out Amy's Etsy! She recently added a bunch of new colors!

I'm going to be showing you Amy's Nail Boutique- Ecopolo! Now half the reason this polish is so rocking, is because it has circular glitter in it! I don't think I have any other polishes that do as of yet. Ecopolo is a mix of magenta, blue and purple glitter in a micro shimmer base. There's circles, squares and shreds. I think there are some smaller holographic hexes to. It just has so much going on, but in a good way! I used OPI- No Room For The Blues as a base, and then did two coats of Ecopolo. It's so stunning on, and I've been getting compliments left and right. Application was great, and the glitter applied evenly without any coaxing.

So pretty right?!

Ok, so I have a few other tidbits to mention! From now until the 26th, all my posts I put up will be scheduled. I'm leaving for vacation on the 14th, but I didn't want to leave you all hanging for that long! I will try to respond to any comments on those posts as frequently as I can. I'll be cruising to the Caribbean, so I'm hoping to pick up some neat polish for my One Year Blogoversary Giveaway which will be in April!

Now for my second tidbit. I have been LOVING Orly Bonder! Definitely my new favorite base coat. I've said in previous posts how hard it is to keep nail polish on while I'm at work, but it's been doing the trick. I do really want to try OPI Nail Envy in the feature though.

That is all!

DandyNails- Chilled Down

Hello Everyone!

I have a pretty awesome polish to share with you all! I actually think it's my first DandyNails polish I've tried, and I love it! Today I have Chilled Down from the Winter Collection. You can find DandyNails on Etsy, as well as Ninja Polish.

Chilled Down is supposed to have an off white base, but to me it's more of a skin toned color. It has the most gorgeous gold and blue flecks. I don't really love the color with my skin tone, but I think the polish is stunning. I wish the base was either slightly more gray or white. I've been seeing a bunch of flecked polish lately, and I'm totally loving them! I think it's a good medium for those who aren't into glitter. I'm totally a glitter girl, but who doesn't like to mix it up every once in a while?! Application was  decent. I had to do three coats, but probably could have gotten away with two if I applied them a bit thicker.

Have you tried any flecked polishes that I should try?

Revlon- Girly

Hi Everyone!

I have a pretty exciting polish to show you all today! It's Revlon- Girly! I've been searching for this baby for what feels like weeks now....and I finally found it! I LOVE IT! Girly is part of the Revlon Bubble Gum Days, Urban Nights Collection. Seriously, go pick this polish up!

Girly is a sheer, but build-able, light pink polish with some seriously girly glitter. The base leans slightly lavender in some lights. There's some pink, purple and even tiny holographic hexes. I did three coats, and I think it's the prefect coverage. It's jellish enough that the glitter shows through, and adds depth to the polish. Revlon really hit it out of the park on this one! It has the perfect amount of sparkle, and is so pretty on the nails!

I hope all of you had a wonderful New Year, and that 2013 is a great year for you!
