KBShimmer is excited to announce the addition of 9 new colors to their 3-Free glitter polish line.  Owner Christy Rose says "With Easter, warmer weather, and Spring Break fast approaching February is the ideal time to introduce softer pastels to our lineup, but also to add a splash of bold color."

The spring lineup includes three glitter top coats, two bold jellies, and four creamy pastels, one of which is scented.  "Our new line was created to play off the softer palette of spring, but also to accent unique glitters like small black dots and spring 2013 Pantone colors like the color of the year, Emerald Green.  We are also excited to debut this collection in our new printed bottles.  With the printed bottles, and our glitter grabbing flat brush, we feel our polish is a solid addition to any collection" says Rose.

KBShimmer- Don't Teal Anyone

Hello!

Yet another scheduled post to show you all today! I'm a little over a week into my cruise, so I will be back soon! Today, I'm going to show you all KBShimmer- Don't Teal Anyone! KBShimmer products are available through KBShimmer.com and through Etsy.

Don't Teal Anyone, is of course a teal based polish with different sized hexes in gold, magenta and blue. There's also a few tiny magenta bars. I expected to seriously love this polish, but I'm sort of on the fence. I think it's the application that turned me off. The glitters weren't necessarily hard to place evenly on the nail, but I found the base color patchy. I ended up having to use three coats. I do like the overall look of it, and I'm digging the color combo.

KBShimmer- Candy Cane Crush

Hello Everyone!

I have a new post, finally! I'm sorry for the absence, but man do I have a good one to show you all today! I'm actually semi obsessed with the this mani. Especially the combo, which you'll see at the end. LOVE IT!

So today I have an amazing glitter from the KBShimmer Holiday Collection to show you, Candy Cane Crush! Now this is not just any old glitter polish, it's scented! You heard me, scented! Vanilla peppermint to be exact. It's super yummy, and the scent lasted even after the top coat! I started with two coats of Butter London- Dosh, and then did one coat of Candy Cane Crush. Not only is it amazingly dense for a glitter, it applied great to. I love the different sizes of red and white hexes, and I can totally see myself using this for other Holidays.  These two polishes together are very "Grinchy". The golden shimmer in Dosh really shines through. Not to mention, I can't stop smelling my nails as I type this.

Now for a little something extra! I added one coat of Sephora by OPI- It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat on top. WOWZERS! This is probably one of my favorite layering combos ever. I'll let the picture do the talking. There's also another coat of Poshe on top, and I can STILL spell Candy Cane Crush!

KBShimmer- Orange-A-Peel

Hi everyone! I hope your four day weekend has be awesome so far! KBShimmer released their new Fall collection, which is amazing, so I was in the mood to put a KBShimmer on! The polish I have for you today is called Orange-A-Peel and it's part of the neon collection. It's the beginning of September so I figured an orange polish was fitting. I don't know about you but I'm ready for Fall! I'm really excited to order a few of the polishes from the Fall collection! Are you going to be picking any up? You can find KBShimmer polish from their website or from Harlow & Co. Harlow & Co actually has free shipping over $50 so my international viewers, keep that in mind!

Orange-A-Peel is a bright orange polish full of white, pink and orange glitters in all different sizes and shapes. It's on the sheer side so I did three coats. The glitter applies evenly even though there's a ton of it. It dries to more of a matte finish because it's neon. Probably looks pretty totally matte! Not sure how much I like it with my skin tone but it is a gorgeous polish. The polish is more red toned then it appears in my pictures though. KBShimmer seem to fill my need for Nerd Lacquers (cry). There's a ton of super unique polishes and they are always great, formula wise. I seriously can't wait to get some of the new polishes!

If you haven't gotten your hands on any polishes from KBShimmer, go run and order some! What ones are you most excited for from the Fall collection? Any Lush Cosmetics fans here? This polishes reminds me of Sexy Peel soap but in polish form!

Reader's Choice Wednesday Featuring KBShimmer

Happy 4th everyone! Yay for the second week of Reader's Choice Wednesday! Well there was no tie this week! KBShimmer- Watercolor definitely won! I was hoping this would be the one because it has been sitting on my nail table waiting to be used. This was one was my favorite from her Neon Collection. I placed an order a little while ago that included some bath products. I'm thinking about doing a review, what do you guys think? All of the KBShimmer products can now be purchased directly from her website. KBShimmer and F4 Polish are probably my favorite inde sellers at the moment.

Watercolor is stunning! It's a medium jellish blue base with purple, blue, pink and holographic glitters in all different sizes. It definitely reminds me of a watercolor painting of a garden pond. Once again, I didn't layer it over any other polish. You guys should know by now that I don't like wearing undies LOL. I did three coats. The glitter, for the most part, was pretty easy to work with. I would get clumps every once in a while but over all it applied evenly. It's just so pretty! I will say that the larger blue hexes do curl slightly. Nothing unworkable though.

I hope everyone is liking the Reader's Choice Wednesday posts! Don't forget to vote for next week!

KBShimmer- Berry Patch

Oh lawdy, I have another glitter to show you today! It also happens to be another KBShimmer. This polish is just so girly and fun! It was amazingly opaque for a baby pink. I only needed two coats, and the glitter applied very evenly. Well all of the glitter except for the blue hexes. Those needed a little work and I still didn't manage to get that many on my nails. Of course my non photo hand ended up with more. My bottle doesn't appear to have that many blue hexes, but I think that was intended. Regardless, I think this polish is amazing! I need to get my hands on some more KBShimmer polishes because the four that I ordered are blowing me away! Oh, how I love Indie polish <3

I also made a Jessica's Nail Tales Facebook if anyone is interested! I think I'm going to a giveaway when I hit 50 likes :D

KBShimmer- Proud Peacock

Wow everyone! I can't even explain how excited I was to see that you liked my blog! I can't believe I almost have 50 followers already! I guess I'll be doing my 100 follower giveaway sooner then I expected ;) Thank you all so much, your amazing <3

Today I have a gorgeous mani to share with you. It's a KBShimmer polish, which can be found on Etsy. I ordered four of them, which I'm sure I will share soon, and this is one of my favorites! It's called Proud Peacock and it's full of glitter goodness all wrapped up in a bright turquoise base. Seriously, this polish is FULL of glitter! According to her Etsy, Proud Peacock contains large blue and black hex, micro purple and white diamond glitter, small fuschia, teal, and navy glitter, and a a few holographic glitters including bars. The one downside is because of all those glitters this polish is quite thick and slightly hard to apply. This is only two coat though, which is amazing! Now on to the pictures! Sorry for the slight messiness. I was in a rush because I'm off to work soon :)

Over the next few posts you might notice my photo layout change a bit. I'm still trying to decide the best way to take pictures of my nails, and which I like best. Sorry for the inconsistency!
