St. Patty's Day Skittles!

Happy Saturday!

I was feeling a bit festive, so I decided to do a St. Patrick's Day mani! I was going to do a water marble, but I was craving some sparkle, as always. I searched through my stash for almost every green and gold I own to figure out what I wanted to to. I ended up for four polishes, and all but one are untrieds! Yay me!

I don't think I've ever done a legit skittles mani before, but I think they're so fun! The polishes I used were A England- Dragon, butter LONDON- West End Wonderland, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear- Set the Stage, and Sephora By OPI- It's Real Top Coat. I used two coats of Dragon on all but my middle finger, which has three coats of West End Wonderland. My pointer and pinky are glitter gradiented with West End Wonderland; my ring finger has one coat of It's Real and one coat of Set the Stage. I'm in love with the end result! Green and glitter, what more could a girl want?!

Are you doing anything fun for St. Patrick's Day?

KBShimmer- Candy Cane Crush

Hello Everyone!

I have a new post, finally! I'm sorry for the absence, but man do I have a good one to show you all today! I'm actually semi obsessed with the this mani. Especially the combo, which you'll see at the end. LOVE IT!

So today I have an amazing glitter from the KBShimmer Holiday Collection to show you, Candy Cane Crush! Now this is not just any old glitter polish, it's scented! You heard me, scented! Vanilla peppermint to be exact. It's super yummy, and the scent lasted even after the top coat! I started with two coats of Butter London- Dosh, and then did one coat of Candy Cane Crush. Not only is it amazingly dense for a glitter, it applied great to. I love the different sizes of red and white hexes, and I can totally see myself using this for other Holidays.  These two polishes together are very "Grinchy". The golden shimmer in Dosh really shines through. Not to mention, I can't stop smelling my nails as I type this.

Now for a little something extra! I added one coat of Sephora by OPI- It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat on top. WOWZERS! This is probably one of my favorite layering combos ever. I'll let the picture do the talking. There's also another coat of Poshe on top, and I can STILL spell Candy Cane Crush!

Sephora by OPI- If You've Got It, Haunt It

Hello everyone! If your in the middle of the storm right now I hope your safe! It's poring here in Maryland! Quite windy to. My lights have flickered a few times but so far so good! I wanted to get this post up in case I loose power like last time it stormed. I have a really neat polish for you all today! It's Sephora by OPI- If You've Got It, Haunt It. I'm not really one for darker polishes but I picked this baby up for $5 bucks the other day. How could I pass it up?

If You've Got It, Haunt It is from, I believe, the 2010 SOPI Halloween collection. This sort of polish has really been popular this year. I've seen a ton of black based polishes with silver glitter, but none quite like this! It's a charcoal jelly with black, silver and possibly holographic glitter. I can't tell if the glitter is holographic or mainly blue, green and orange. Application was a bit patchy, but nothing unworkable. It didn't even really dry that gritty, but I did my usually Gelous and Poshe combo. It's really stunning on and I think it's unique. I'm really glad I picked it up. And I mean come on, the name is adorable.

I don't have too many SOPI polishes, but I did pick up the It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat. I'm sure you will see it soon!
