Zoya Splatter Mani!

Hi everyone! I tried the splatter technique finally! I always look at how pretty splatter manis are but I was always a bit intimidated by them! They looked so messy and to be honest, they really are. I learned some things along the way that will make the process a bit earlier from now on. I'm really excited to try my hand at it again soon!

For today's splatter I used two Zoya colors, Kristen and Feifei. I'm seriously obsessed with how pretty this is! For a basic splatter mani you sill need your polishes, a straw (I cut mine in half) and either tape or Vaseline to protect around you nails. Protecting around my nails is where I really messed up! It slipped my mind and man did I regret it! I had to basically scrub FeiFei off my hands for about ten minutes. For my right hand I applied Vaseline all around my nails and that helped a bunch because I could just wipe everything right off. Manicurator has an awesome post on how to use a spray bottle instead of a straw so I think I might try that next time!

For this mani, I started with two coats of Zoya- Kristen which is a soft, greyish blue. It definitely leans more blue on me. I love this polish because it's opaque in two coats. For the splatter I used Zoya- Feifei which is a very hard color to describe. It's sort of a metallic blue base with flashes of green, gold, blue and pink sparkle. It's super gorgeous and flashy! I love the parts of the splatter where it's like a little blob of polish because you can really see the complexity of Feifei. I included an extra photo so you can see the all the crazy shimmer!

Candeo Colors- Zef

Hi everyone! I'm super in love with the mani I have to show you today! The star of the show is Candeo Colors- Zef. I ordered this in the first stock that it was available a few months back. I remember that this formula was slightly different then the original Zef so it was discounted. By discounted I mean like half off so of course I was going to pick it up! From what I can remember, it was missing some type of glitter. The bottle doesn't even have the Candeo Colors label. Comparing it to the website pictures I can't really tell a difference! I just know it's gorgeous and I'm glad I picked it up. You can find Candeo Colors in their personal shop. Keep in mind that I don't think you will be able to get the "messed up" version of Zef but you can get the normal one!

I knew I had to have some undies to wear Zef over and I had the perfect polish in mind, Orly- Au Champagne! I put off buying Au Champagne for the longest time even though everyone told me I needed it. Man were they right! It's a stunning, frosty white polish packed with a silvery white shimmer. It applies great for a frost. Barely streaky and pretty opaque. I think the shimmer really helps it to not appear to streaky. It just glows when you add a top coat. Now on to Candeo Colors- Zef! It's a matte glitter bomb and a perfect color combo. Black, blue and pink matte glitters in different shapes and sizes. On to the not so great part, application kinda sucked. The glitter wanted to clump together and it definitely took some patience to get it evenly on the nail. I would say I used about one and a half coats because I had to fish out some of the bigger blue hexes and pink squares. I think the finished look is so, so pretty though!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that I used a PVA/ glue base coat for this mani! I will let you all know how it goes. Not sure if I will do a post on it or not just because it seems like every single blogger has done one and the information kinda repeats itself! Let me know what you guys think!

Glitter Gradient Featuring Zoya And Girly Bits

Hi guys! I hope your week is well so far! I actually have my first glitter gradient mani for you today! I've done the spong gradient, which you all have seen, but I have never done one with a glitter. For this mani I used Zoya- Paloma, a gorgeous jelly, and Girly Bits- Razzle Dazzle, a crazy holographic pink glitter. I will tell you right off the bat, these pictures do not properly capture how gorgeous this mani is in real life. You can find Girly Bits from the Big Cartel shop and from Llarowe.

Zoya- Paloma is a bright, berry colored jelly. Paloma is opaque in three coats and is super glossy when dry. As soon as I got Paloma I knew I had to pair it with Girly Bits- Razzle Dazzle. Razzle Dazzle is amazing! It's pretty opaque for a fine glitter. I would imagine three coats would be prefect for a full mani. This is my first time wearing both polishes and I know I will be wearing them again. They are just gorgeous together! I really wish this would have photographed better because it's stunning and I can't stop staring at my nails.  I hope you can get the idea of how pretty this is!

A Huge Thank You and Hare Polish- Heat Plague

Hi guys! Let me start this post of by saying how freaking excited I am that I made it to 300 followers! I still consider myself a pretty new blogger. My first post was only in April of this year! I feel like I've put so much time and effort into my blog and I am so glad that you all like it. To be honest, I didn't expect to love blogging as much as I do. I knew I LOVED nail polish but I wan't sure if I was going to like blogging about it. So to show you guys how appreciative I am, I will be having a 300 follower giveaway soon! I'm actually really super excited about this giveaway. I'm in the process of picking out polishes. If you like my Facebook page, you probably saw that I was contemplating doing a Halloween based giveaway. Not entirely sure why but Halloween is really exciting me this year. Possibly because of all the amazing indie brands making such gorgeous, festive polishes. I think you guys are going to LOVE the polishes! Keep an eye out because it will be starting in the next 2-3 weeks!

After a very long intro, lets get on to the polish! This is my first time wearing a Hare Polish. When I think back to right when I started finding out about indie brands, I'm almost positive Hare was the first I saw. I was in love with them but hesitant to buy because I didn't know much about it. I think back now and I could kick myself because there are a ton of her original polishes that I would die for. Today I have a more recent addition to the Hare line, Heat Plaque! I got this from a super nice friend in one of my Facebook groups I'm in! Thanks again Jennifer! Hear Plague, to me, is a very fall inspired polish. I know it came out in summer but I definitely think it's more fall. Heat Plaque is a dark green jelly with orange, magenta and purple glitter and shimmer. I used three coats and it still could have been a bit more opaque. I feel like it applied a bit spotty. Not necessarily the glitter but the actual base. I still think it's gorgeous! As much as I don't like to layer glitters, I might use a base color for this next time. This did dry yummy and jelly-like and was fine with only one coat of top coat.

The F4 Polish Halloween Collection!

OMGOMGOMG, I can not tell you how excited I am to do this post. I was going to wait till later this week but I don't think I can! Today I'm going to be showing you guys the entire F4 Polish Halloween Collection!!!! You all know how much I LOVE F4 Polish so you know I had to snatch this collection up right away! Once they started posting swatch photos on their Facebook page, I knew I had to have them all. I'm also excited because this is my first full collection swatch and review. Let me tell you, swatching these polishes one right after the other was so hard because I didn't want to take them off! This is seriously a stand out collection for Halloween. So many unique polishes and so many layering combinations! If these don't scream Halloween, I'm not sure what does! You can preorder the entire collection off Etsy. It's $52 for the full size collection and $28 for mini. I went with the mini set but to be honest I'm seriously considering getting full size of a few. Did I mention how cute the bottles are?!? They have little silver bats on them!

You are about to see swatches of seven amazing polishes, so prepare your wallet. Of course the polishes have to have cute Halloween names right? There's Drunken Zombie, Nightmare Forest, Krazy Korn, Green Goblin, Monster Mash, Hocus Pocus, and Boo To You. All gorgeous and Halloweentastic! You best bet I will be wearing these spooky babies the entire month of October so prepare to see a few reposts. Are you ready to have your mind blown with amazingness? All polishes are two coats unless otherwise stated and are all topped with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Poshe.

First up is Drunken Zombie. I had a feeling this one would be disgustingly gorgeous and it did not disappoint! Drunken Zombie has a sort of nasty snot colored, green tinted, yellow base. It's the most unique color and I actually loved it on. It's filled with shiny and matte purple and green glitters in different sizes. There's also some holographic glitters that give it tons of sparkle. This is one of my favorites and is totally the stand out in the collection. It's also the only polish with a colored base. For this one I did three coats. Gorgeous.

Nightmare Forest is next! I really love this polish and I didn't think I would. It has shredded glitter which I haven't tried yet but it doesn't appeal to me in pictures. This is another one I would definitely recommend picking up. It's a clear base with black shreds, teeny tiny matte purple bars (which I adore), tiny matte green hexes with larger orange hexes. It's super unique! Application was very easy considering the different shapes of glitter. I layered this over two coats of Zoya- Dove.

Up next, Krazy Korn! This was one that originally wan't going to be included in the collection but they decided to add it! I'm glad they did because it's so much fun! Krazy Korn is a clear base with tiny white, yellow and orange matte glitters, larger matte white hexes and shiny yellow hexes. You don't see the yellow hexes in the photo as much as you do in real life. Again, this had good application. Krazy Korn is over two coats of Maybelline- Fierce N Tangy.

Here's Green Goblin, another favorite! This one has multiple sizes and colors of green glitters. Some matte and some shiny. It has a nice sparkle to it! I think you could probably build this to full opacity with another coat. Another one with great application. Green Goblin is over two coats of Zoya- Shawn which I think is the perfect base color.

Monster Mash is up next. This was one of the more simple polishes but still gorgeous! All matte glitters starting with tiny black ones, green hexes and slightly larger purple hexes. This one made me think of a frog. Or maybe a Ninja Turtle. I applied Monster Mash in more of a dabbing motion because the purple glitters didn't like to stay on the nail. This is over two coats of Orly- Lucky Duck which again I think is the perfect base.

Second to last is Hocus Pocus! This was the one that I showed as a teaser photo on Facebook! If you saw the picture, you will know what I mean when I say that this baby sparkles! The star of this polish is the holographic purple glitter! It also has matte black and green glitter with shiny green glitters as well. This is another one that would probably be opaque with another coat. This is over four coats of Zoya- Katherine.

Last but not least is Boo To You! Now I will say that this one was pretty much the only one I didn't really love. Not sure if it was the color I put it over or what. It's a fun polish though, don't get me wrong! Boo To You has matte orange and black glitters in a few different shapes and sizes. It even has black diamonds! This was another that I had to use the dabbing motion with. Boo To You is over one coat of Julep- Leighton.

That's the whole collection! What do you guys think?!? I personally love it and I think it's a great collection as a whole. The polishes I would say you need to get ASAP are Drunken Zombie and Nightmare Forest! If you can get the whole collection, do it!
